Hi all,
Found this site after saerching the app store on my phone this morning.
At first I was skeptical as I signed up, but once I searched for the breakfast bar I was eating on my way to work all of it's nutritional data was enetered.
Awesome! I'm in.

Anyway, about me.
29, need to lose around 10-15kgs max.
Goal is to get to around 15% bodyfat.
I'm 4 days into a 3month fitness/diet program (not sure if mentioning its name is against rules?) and feeling great

Thanks :)

    Hi Jimmy,

Another Aussie (and also from Perth) here. I found this site via the iPhone app too. It's definitely improved over the last 6 months as more Aussies have joined and input food details.

Good luck with your weight loss. Add me as a friend if you wish :glasses:

Hello and G'night from America :-)

This site's great, and I love the App. Good luck with your journey.

Oh, and by the way, you can say the name of your weight loss program and talk about it with people here. What they don't allow you to do is posting a link to a web site where people can buy it and which makes you a profit. I think you can post a link to the main site where people can check it out and buy it, but not one where you make money on someone buying it. Hope that helps.
  • Another Aussie here! Welcome to MFP! You have definitely made the right decision joining up - it's so easy to use and there's so many great people to help you along the way :)

Gday from Brisbane. Good luck with your goals. Look forward to hearing what the program is!!!
  • Thankyou all for the warm welcome :)
Will add those that offeredbut not sure what that means yet!

The program I'm following is called P90X, it's straight from the USA.
Suits me better than gym mebership/driving to gym/other peoples sweat etc.
Minimal equipment is required - dumbbells, chinup bar.

P90X seems to be quite a popular programme around here. You'll find multiple threads on it.

As far as I am aware, there are no rules to naming the programme, be it exercise, diet or an all inclusive one , you're using in your weight loss journey. Most people are interested to hear what others are doing in order to get ideas and/or compare experiences. So long as you aren't trying to sell something for personal gain we're free to discuss pretty much anything here. :glasses:
