Just starting out

This is my first time doing one of these fitness apps, I have lost weight in the past up seem to fall out the wagon due to change and mishaps in life. Want to get back on track before my body quits wanting to.. Need this for my spiritual being also, to center myself in my every day life.. Seem to balance every thing out. :smile: :smile:

    My husband and I have done Fitness Pal several times over the last three or four years and it works. Unfortunately, we would get busy or the holidays would come or we would take a break for vacation and not come back and...other excuses here.
    Two weeks ago, my husband had a heart attack and now we are dedicated to weight loss, healthy habits and LIFE.
    Updated my stats and lost .8 pounds yesterday even with a family Sunday dinner. Although our journey is serious and forever, I believe this can be fun and exciting with exploration of new spices and challenges in finding new favorite foods. All suggestions will be welcome.

    I just bought a Fitbit One and am hoping that it will help me get motivated (it hasn't even arrived yet!). I weigh 10 stone 6 (146lb). Very keen to lose 14lb as soon as possible. That is what would be healthy for me. I am 48 and interested in connecting with other folk who like me, find it difficult to stay focussed!!!
