Weight loss rate - is 1kg p/w too fast?

Options
Hey all,

I know the topic of loose skin has been brought up a million times, and I apologise for that.. I am just curious as to what I should set my weight loss per week goal. 1kg a week is around 2.2 pounds, so as a 248 pound-ish 18 year old with about 82 pounds to lose, is 1kg too fast if I'm hoping to avoid this, obviously supplemented with strength training, hydration etc.

Thanks for your time!

Yes that weight loss rate is too fast. For health...lose skin be damned...

With 82lbs to lose you really should be aiming for about 1.5lb and yes I know you are thinking what is the dif...0.7lbs...

To be frank lose skin is not determined by how fast you lose only.

Genetics, how long you have had the weight on etc.

Some get lose skin some don't...

I have .75 Kg selected at the moment, which is 1.6lb, so I might just keep that then, thank you!
