Holiday break from new workout - help!?

I've been really motivated for a few weeks now (FYI my scale is going up and the inches slowly going down but I feel so much better in my body than I have in a long time!) however I am off to Texas for two weeks on Thursday and I'm worried!

I know there was a thread about exercising in hotels while away yesterday, however I'm sharing a room with other people and realistically I just don't see my doing stuff in the room - I could pretend I will but that's no use!

Currently I am really into lifting - I enjoy pumping my body (and seeing my muscles come back!) - I've been doing with 15 kg on barbell;
3x15 barbell squats
3x15 barbell lunges
3x15 barbell rows
3x8 barbell bent over row
3x8 barbell upright row
3x8 lateral raise db 5kg
30 secs plank
aided (I put my foot on chair) pull ups 3x5

I do this 4 times a week, aiming to increase weight by 1.5 kg each week.

I also run between 2.5 - 5km most days (I have a collie who I run in morning with) and will probably run in the mornings while away.

I will be busy from 8am - 9pm everyday so joining local gym isn't viable really.

My questions are;
I am due to have a rest day tomorrow but if I don't take it and continue until I go away Thursday morning - is that sensible or a waste of time?
Will coming back feel like starting over again? i.e. will I have to reduce weight?
Any suggestions on keeping up motivation and/or strength while away?
Is two weeks a short amount of time and I am worrying about nothing?

Also if you are reading this and have any suggestions on my work out they would be appreciated! I'm still finding what works for me at the moment which is why going away for two weeks feels like a bad time.

Cheers :)

    Most hotel with workout rooms have free weights and treamills. It might even do your body good to switch it up. You probably have to engage your muscles in a slighlty different way to duplicate those exercises using free weights vs a barbell.

    Here's a link to an article on dumbells and barbells. http://www.aworkoutroutine.com/dumbbells-vs-barbells/

    You should still take your rest days and I bet that even if you cut your work out in half, you'll be fine when you come back. Those sound like long work days. Hopefully they wont have you sitting around in a conference room all of that time.

    Thanks!

    Didn't realise hotel gyms might have weights (never been in one to be honest - I know that's bad!)

    Unfortunately will be sat down in conference room for most of that time :/
