Hi, I'm also a student looking to lose weight
gonna send you a friend request x if you don't mind me asking how much is your budget?

I was a student until about 3 months ago. But I am still living on a small budget with my new job. Does that count?0

@CharisXE it's cool, at the moment I'm working on a 10.00 GBP per week limit, I've realised that in emergencies I can stretch to 15.00. I've found that it helps that I'm not buying chocolate anymore.
I lost my job just after christmas and I'm trying to make it to my next student loan without having to borrow from my flatmates.
Plus I've still got a house deposit to find for next year, so finding a budget that works and that I can stick to would be brilliant.
@sheepysaccount I'd say you count0 -
Hey, I'm the same except I usually budget £15 or so per week (I have a job, thank god).0

I do keep looking for a new job. I worked night shift for a few months and loved it; all the heavy lifting and stairs were a brilliant work out. It was like doing 16 hours at the gym every week but getting paid for it. The store just wasn't keeping on the temp staff so I had to leave.
I do miss it... It helped shed some of the flab, I'm just so scared that I'm going to put it all back on...0 -
Wow, 10 GBP seems super small. However, I know there is a website for the "beneath the line" challenge. They have a website with recipes as well. All for 5 GBP a week. You might something in there and even make room for eggs or something extra.
edit: I found them

Not sure about calories or anything, though.0 -
I've also been reading another post on the forums and got you some more links to look through for food ideas

@Sheepy Thank you for the links I'll make sure to look at them. With my budget, I didn't realise until it was too late that I was nearly broke, so I'm having to live with the consequences...0
