If you have had this procedure done, how long before you can workout? I'm having this done tomorrow and my friend just told me no exercise for 2 weeks! Is this true?

Ask the doctor... they will know what's best for you

I was fairly ill after mine and my abdomen took several months to recover properly. I can only suggest that you are very careful.

When I had mine done, I was told nothing strenuous for 4 weeks. However, this is not the best place to get advice. Please CONSULT your physician.
  • It took me about 1 week to just be able to comfortably move around and start walking a bit. My abdomen hurt just moving in bed. It was probably about 3 weeks before I was back to my normal gym routine. But every person is different. Good luck to you!

of course I'll do as my Doctor instructs, I was only looking for others experiences. Not being able to exercise makes me very sad :ohwell:

You can ask the doctors at the hospital what exercises are ok for you to do and how long you should limit workouts for.
