Okay, tring not to stress over this. except it really is bothering me. this morning i weighed .4 more than a week ago. i did have a binge moment on Sunday night and pizza Monday, everyday except Sunday i was well in my calories. Hoping it is just muscle, because I have been doing all my cardio at 15% incline. The only other major change was had grits with eggs almost everyday, figured it was better than saltly meat and toast w butter. wish this could just be simple. I really dont think i am retaining water because i drink plenty and have been watching my sodium.

Hi Dafrog,
Your experience is not uncommon. :grumble:
There are a number of "must reads" under General Diet and Weight loss. Here is one excerpt:
http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/6556-the-answers-to-the-questions
Question #3:
I'm doing "everything right" and the scale won't move.
Answer #1: The scale is the devil. Step away from the scale. Buy a tape measure, notice how your clothes are (probably) fitting better. Muscle is more dense than fat, and takes up less space on your body. More muscle on your body will make the scale freeze or (gasp) move upward.

Personally, it takes about 2 weeks for my body to adjust when I start making changes in diet and exercise, and the scale doesn't move until the end of those 2 weeks. Congratulations on making the choice to get healthy. Keep going. You will see differences shortly. :flowerforyou:0 -

two eggs (190) and 1 serving of grits (140)
i dont see how 30 to 60 mins. of cardio plus strength training can be upped, if anything i was doing too much, cause I was having a big deficit.0 -
be patient with your body. It is common common common for losses to happen in spurts. So stay on track, and if you still haven't seen a loss after 3-4 WEEKS then you can wonder what to change. When I hit 20 lbs lost, I got stuck there for about 5 weeks. It was frustarting, but perseverence and patience pushed me through that plateau and I started losing again. I'm kinda stuck right now at 50 lbs. But I know if I stay on track, it will start disappearing again.0
