Cyclists.... ADD ME!

While I've got people here, anyone train for racing?

I'm working on the weight loss, but I typically wear out in a crit after a few attacks. I've been training lately and focusing on extending my overall climbing endurance, but I know I need to drop much more weight to really see a huge leap. But during races, I just lose the juice, way too quickly. Everyone says "you've got power!" which is cool, yes I can sprint, but not too often at 100%.

Any tips or advice?

Yup, training for racing here. Started training on January 6th of this year for the 2014 season. 12 weeks base. 12 weeks build, peak, and race. I'm in week 10 of my base training this week.

No tips or advice other than cut weight, build a good solid base, and then choose your build period so you can peak for your main 2 weeks of events.

Oh crap, here I've been trying to train 4-5 weeks prior to an event. :-X

Yeah, I gotta work on my base more. All I try and do is build, and peak during an event.
