Working out is my de-stressor, but of course my hobby (cycling) is a workout and I love it!

I've told my GF she needs a hobby, she's been stressed out a lot lately and she doesn't have a hobby that she's really passionate about. We're doing fine, we do plenty, but what she wants to do as a hobby is TRAVEL. (Like every girl, right?) But she can't afford it at the moment, so I told her to find something to do.

We're getting her a bike soon, and she's picking up some "how to crochet" books too.

Sacrifice having a social life so you can get some sleep.

    You don't.

Cry and scream until the semester ends and then celebrate.

I'm not sure why a hobby would be good for someone who is stressed and busy.
if you're bored and eating chips on the couch than yes.
Use the time off to take care of yourself. that's all I got.

I don't know what you do for workouts, but overtraining is a thing that can happen. If your pushing way too hard you may need to adjust your program to something more sustainable. If you're pushing a reasonable amount you'll still need breaks occasionally where you do less, or less intense, things. It's called deloading.

Work and school I donno. If you figure it out let me know.
