Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred is about $10 and it's a really good, short (25 min) workout!! She has lots of DVD's and most are pretty inexpensive. All you need to use besides the DVD is hand weights. I've also heard you can find them on you tube for free ....Good luck!!

I second Jillian Michaels, and as cheesy as it is even Denise Austin. Two completely different personalities but for me they're two of the few that can make me stick with the videos. I'd say to go to youtube to check out any videos there before purchasing one though (or just save your money and do workouts from there).

I am a huge fan of Zumba... it's all Latin inspired music set to fun easy movements.. no coordination required. There is no beginner or advanced... you just follow along and put in whatever your body is inspired to offer. They have 20 minute, 30 minute and 1 hour dvd. I would recommend going on Youtube to check it out.. they have a bunch of different routines to give you an idea if this is a good direction for you. If this is something you can get excited about because you are a music/dance type of person... i would try ebay to purchase.. people are always looking to see used dvds on there.. less expensive option.

    hope this was helpful.
    best of luck!

I'm going to second the idea for FitnessBlender...all of their full-length workouts are free to use, both on YouTube and on their website
  • Thanks :)
