I do the exact same thing...try Prison Break!

I also suggest House, Grey's Anatomy, Vampire Diaries (don't judge, it's annoyingly addicting to stare are Ian Somerhalder), Breaking Bad, Castle

    House of Cards!

I think that's what I might go with! I love Kevin Spacey, and political dramas too! Scandal is also on my short list :)

Thanks so much for all of your suggestions, guys!

Scandal is AWESOME. It's like West Wing meets Alias but with more soap opera. Love it!

    Archer for comedy.

BTW, why do they warn people up front that Archer is for "mature audiences" when it is the most immature program I have ever watched? I feel like such a 14 yr old kid!

    House of Cards for drama.

Those!!! I just finished both of those and they are fantastic. I'm thinking Mad Men is going to be my next binge.

If you haven't already watched it, you NEED to watch Breaking Bad. You'll thank me later.
I'm currently in the process of binge-watching Grey's Anatomy. Polar opposite shows, but both are amazing!

    Stargate

Um...as you can see my list skews a *little* nerd-centric

Hard to binge watch though, there's only one episode so far. (Or maybe there's only one available on the A&E Roku channel...)

Mad Men (Love this show so much, I've watched every episode multiple times)
Orphan Black (quite a gem of a show)
    Continuum (quirky good fun)
House of Cards (I have three more episodes to watch; these people are so evil and devious)
    The Sopranos (obviously!!)
Breaking Bad (stunning television, and you just can't look away)
The Wire is probably the best series ever. Everyone in the US should be required to watch it, as it explains so much...

What about old shows like Laverne & Shirley, Cheers, Taxi? Benson?

If you have not already done so, I recommend bingeing on The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Dexter, House of Cards, and Sons of Anarchy and Orange is the New Black. First Season of American Horror Story was good but I didn't make it past the second episode of Season Two.. it's just too perverted for my taste. First 2 seasons of The Killing were really good. It's a dark whodunit drama set in Seattle.

I would agree with Broadchurch and Fringe.
And if you have never watched it dust off Twin Peaks. Got to give it a couple episodes it's odd, but it grows on you fast.
In addition I would also suggest Sherlock and Psych.

I am binge watching Mad Men now....

I think Don Draper could out-drink Chuck Norris...of course, Madd Men is make believe, and everyone knows Chuck Norris drank it all.

A lot of my favorites have already been mentioned so I won't repeat them but my husband and I were so bummed when we finished Breaking Bad and a friend suggested we try Justified. It is not as good as BB (but nothing is!) but it's really good! We've gone through the first three seasons pretty fast and are now rationing ourselves! It's on amazon prime too. I have got to get Netflix!
