Yes, if you want specific advice, you'll want to open your food diary.0 -

Honestly there's no way that possible, 1200 is less than most people's BMR! Maybe you're underestimating how much you're eating and logging it wrong?0

Are you gaining muscles with working out on weights? Do you have low metabolism? You should check your thyroid if you're not gaining muscles. But if you are gaining muscles and the amount of weight you can lift, bench keeps going higher, then maybe you need to measure other parts of your body to see if you are losing i.e. waist, hip, arms, neck. Sometimes, when you gain muscle and tone your body, you gain weight but lose inches.0

I agree that a public diary would make it much easier to offer advice. Change your settings in the app on your phone.0 -

What is your ht/wt, and how much do you exercise?
Unless you're under 5ft tall you're starving yourself. In the past 10 days (on the days you logged) you only reached 1000 calories twice, with one day at 604.
Something isn't right, if you are indeed eating that little (not knowing your ht/wt) you should have lost something....as dangerous as that low of caloric intake is.....0 -
Do you log every single thing you eat? If so ... it doesn't seem you're eating nearly enough. Many days you don't come close to 1200 calories.
If you're not logging everything, it's impossible to give advice.
And you're also working out and lifting weights?0 -
Hey so I now weigh 152. I don't understand. My thyroid test and it is still normal. I have gotten stronger but have gotten fatter. Please help. I am also started to eat more and I be tracking it through mfp. Any suggestions thoughts let me know.0

2. If you aren't already using one, get and use a food scale. Weigh all solids. Measuring cups/spoons are not accurate:

As others have said, gaining weight on that low of a calorie deficit isn't possible. Suggestion: be honest and log everything you put in your mouth EVERYDAY... even that multivitamin. Weigh/measure everything and decide if your goal will be net or tdee.0

Are you looking for an old way to eat and lose weight?

Stop weighing things in cups, and logging using generic database entries and log EVERYTHING using scales... It is medically impossible to gain weight if you were actually eating so little.0

This.
It's all good advice. Follow this and you will lose weight.
I started on the suggested 1200 calories per day and found I had no energy to even live let alone work out! I;ve since adjusted my goals and eat back some exercise calories and I'm losing. I'm surprised you manage to exercise at all if you are eating so little.
Good luck.0 -
