Intermittent fasting question

Hey.

I'm a natural intermittent faster, in that I've always preferred eating within a short-ish space in the evening, rather than meals spaced out over an entire day.

But I'm wondering if there's an optimal window for eating? Like, should my calories be consumed over 6 hours, or can I shorten it to 4 hours? Maybe even less?

Also, sometimes I'll eat my calories early in the day, day between 8am-1pm. With intermittent fasting, do I have to eat at the same time each day, or can I mix it up? Like, sometimes eat within a 4 hour window in the evening, and some days eat within a 4 hour window in the morning?

  • The bulletproof diet/eating plan for answers. I fast just to get control of myself so I follow no such plan. However, I do like the bulletproof coffee (weird but good).
