Couch to 5k or more?

Hey everyone, This next week is spring break for me and I'm looking to get back into my running game. Within the last year I was running between 3-5 daily (weekdays) however I haven't really kept up with it since August or so :/ BUT! I'm taking advantage of the week I have off coming up to start a Couch to 5k sort of running program. Anyone have any that they enjoyed? Also any tips for getting back at it?

Feel free to add me :)

I just started Couch to 5K... I have the app on my phone its like Couch to 5K Run double or something like that and it was free. I used to run 2 miles a day 5-6 days a week but I havent ran in almost a year. I just started the C25K yesterday and I really enjoyed it! It was pretty easy for me to get through the 30 minute run so instead of 3 days a week I am going to do 4 days a week and then go to 5 days a week starting in April, I just dont want to get shin splints or I would do 5 days right off but I think I can handle 4 for now :) Feel free to add me if you want someone to check-in with! :) I will be posting every day that I complete on my page.

I did the C25K many years ago and then got pregnant -taking nearly a year off. I picked it back up and started around week 3 I believe - I didn't need to start at ground zero.

It gave me the focus and "plan" to get back into it and it worked for me. I say try starting somewhere in the middle and let your body tell you where your fitness level is at.

Once I completed the C25K I just added on distance - 1/2 mile each week until I got to where I needed/wanted to be.
