Apples, Carrots, Pears, Protein

I started attempting some weight loss about Feb 25th, at 155 lbs, and have been going about it in all the 'right ways' with losing about one pound a week and eating well and counting cals and working out and all that. I weigh in once a week, and today I find… I'm UP to 156. Grrr!! So in an attempt to channel this fury, I've come up with a short-term diet plan to give me a little boost... And then back to the doldrums of doing things 'the right way'.
Essentially, for 2 to 3 days I'll be eating 1400 cals worth of apples, carrots, pears, and lean protein like chicken or whole boiled eggs. Maybe one handful of almonds per day as well.
Posting here for accountability and support. I'll let you all know how it goes, and I'd love to hear what you all think!

don't do it.
The weight is water weight it will go away. It's from starting a new exercise ...
it takes about 2-4 weeks...but keep up with the reasonable deficet and exercise....0 -
Stop that right now. You need patience. Weight fluctuates. If you've been eating at your goal and your weight has increased, it's probably just water weight or you have to poop. Eating five different foods isn't going to make you lose weight any faster than eating all of the different foods you like as long as you're at your calorie goal.0

Something tells me you were never doing it the 'right ways'. Re-evaluate where you could be going wrong.0

I honestly don't see how that will help you in any way...actually it might cause you to binge after it!0

To be hones, I think that's a rediculous plan. You're really new at this...are you sure you've been logging your food accurately? Are you weighing and measuring everything or just guesstimating? Have you logged evertying you've eaten and had to drink every day since you started? Eat what you like but all you have to do to lose weight is stay within your calorie goal. No need for a fad diet.
Assuming you haven't overeaten by a lot recently, it's got to be water weight. Did you have a high sodium day recently? Not drink enough water? Is it that time of the month or are you ovulating? Did you start exercising or change up your workouts recently? Could you be consipated? Are you weighing the same time every day wearing the same thing?
You don't have to answer some of those TMI ones but at least consider them. All of these can be reasons why you're up a bit or even stalled.0 -
It is 1 lbs, take a good poop and it's gone.
Why would you do this eating plan now? It's not sustainable..0 -
