I don't have a great recipe, but i have a helpful hint. Because regular ground pork is very high fat, I recommend doing the initial cooking in slightly salted boiling water. When all the meat has cooked, drain in a strainer or colander. This will remove a good portion of the fat from the meat that would still be there if you just sautéed it. I do this every time I cook ground turkey for spaghetti sauce or whatever.

Making your own ground pork out of a lean cut like tenderloin would be great, but who would want to destroy a beautiful pork tenderloin?

I wish you luck and continued success!

    nice, thanks for the hint!

Although the ground prok i have is very lean, so i'm nto too worried about the fat this time around.
