    There's nothing wrong with eating the same foods as long as you are getting enough variety to get all the nutrients you need. You could try taking these foods and using them in different recipes to change up the flavor. Switch the grapefruit for an orange or banana, select a different kind of soup, fix your eggs differently.

    If you aren't getting enough calories, add some calorie dense foods like peanut butter, eat more almonds, add cheese to your sandwich, there's a lot of options. Look at some food diaries to get ideas. Search the web for recipes.

    I loooove food and I am always searching for healthy cooking ideas. Hopefully this helps:

    My dinner today: pan seared tilapia with portabella mushroom seasoned with lemon, salt and pepper (with olive oil) + steamed pumpkin

    I'm planning on making eggwhite, taro and kale frittata tomorrow;

    And I made crepes for 2 people (1 egg, 3tbsp egg white, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup whole wheat flour, 1tbsp of sugar, 1tbsp of flaxseed meal, 1/4 cup of oats) last Saturday, served with strawberries.

    And chickpeas quinoa warm salad was amazing too. There's different recipes for that.

    Oh and Greek yogurt makes perfect dipping sauce for flat bread; and I make hummus too.

    Try steam an eggplant and season with a pinch of salt and some peanut butter. It is absolutely amazing.

    This list goes on and on.... Feel free to add me if you want anymore cooking ideas :)

    Edit: who can make healthy, balanced meals like a boss? THIS GIRL :P

    I tend to eat the same things too which then causes me to get bored which gets me into trouble with eating things I shouldn't. I also don't really cook (especially cooking for one person which is a pain) and I am super busy, so I tend to pick up four or five meals a week from MyFit Foods which are low calorie (I get the small size) and gives me enough variety I don't fall off the wagon. Not sure where you live if MyFit Foods exist or not (and the meals are kind of expensive) but it does help me with my getting bored from eating the same thing all the time. Good Luck!
  • try eating almonds or walnuts instead of mixed fruit for snacks to avoid blood sugar spikes, by doing so preventing cravings.

    NOTE: this is just one of many ideas to try, everyones body is different
  • There are tons of ways you can switch it up if you are simply bored with what you are eating. Check out sites like Food Network or people's blogs for inspiration. I like to just google a few keywords of ingredients I already have in my fridge or that I want to cook with and see what recipes come up.
    For breakfast: switch up your fruit (bananas are a great breakfast fruit); try oatmeal (theres a million and one combinations you can do with oatmeal and never get bored); smoothies are a great breakfast on the go; greek yogurt is super healthy alternative as well.
    For lunch: try making your sandwich into a salad, there are tons of different ways you can fix these as well to not get bored.
    For dinner: i find just switching up the types of veggies makes a huge difference, i usually use whatever is in season at the time. also try other grains like quinoa or couscous so you don't get bored of rice. vary the fish with other types of meats like chicken, and there are again tons of different ways to prepare those so you don't get bored. (my fave is an orange chipolte marinated chicken!)
