Starbucks help!

Hey.

Ok, so tomorrow is my birthday (27... gulp!) and I'm heading into town for some celebratory shopping. I've planned out my food tomorrow, and I have about 350 spare, so I'm thinking of indulging my Starbucks addiction while I'm in town.

I'm in the UK, so we don't have all the fancy options they have in the US, but does anyone know of any yummy drinks around the 250-300 mark? I want something more indulgent than a skinny latte with sugar free syrup, but I am pretty sure my favourite white chocolate & peppermint frapp with cream is waaaaaay over 300, even for a tall.

Any ideas? I rarely go to Starbucks, so I kind of want to treat myself without blowing my calorie budget.

Tell them to half the syrup, instead of the sugar free crap. An average starbucks has 4-6 pumps of syrup, thats insane. Also ask for low fat milk or soy. And cut the whipped cream.

It wont be perfect, but you should have your birthday drink, just make good choices with it.

It's your birthday? Happy Birthday and get the drink you really want. It's a once a year thing, right? Not going to derail anything with one special coffee.

Try a nonfat caramel flan latte, maybe half-sweet. If you skip on the whip, you're saving stuff too.

    But, it's your birthday so...I'd indulge! :)

Just look up variations of the caramel flan latte on MFP. Nonfat works best if you want a good protein : fat ratio, as well as lightening the caloric intake.

Happy Birthday! 27 isn't old. I'm going to be 30 this year, thats old. LOL. Starbucks should have nutrition info on their menu.

Starbucks.com has a pretty nice nutrition breakdown. Not every drink and combo came up, but a grande non-fat with whip mocha would clock in at 290! You could order it iced for the same calorie count if you prefer cold drinks. :)

I initially read this as wanting to spend $350 on a drink at Starbucks.

Anyway, just get your favorite drink. It's not much over target.

I get Starbucks at least a few times a week. Most of their regular frapps are around 390-400 calories for a grande. Try a "light" version with no whip and you will definitely come in under 300.

a tall coffee frapp is 177 made with whole milk
whipped cream is 60 cals and each pump of regular syrup is 20 cals

so for 317 you can get a tall with 2 pumps each of white choc and peppermint with whipped cream

I'm a HUGE fan of their Skinny Mocha (I think its even better than the non-skinny mocha)! I also really enjoy their Skinny Caramel Macchiato (it tastes awesome, I don't even realize it's a skinny version) and the venti clocks in at 160 calories!!! Their Venti Caramel Flan Latte is awesome too, if you order it non-fat with whip it's 250 calories! So you can definitely find things! Just look it up!!!

Grande gingerbread latte with soy ... Must ask specifically as it is normally seasonal (May not have molasses but can replace with chocolate syrup)

One day ... one celebration .. will not knock you off course. What good is living if you don't get to enjoy it every now and then?
