I have been weighing myself way too much...maybe being a little compulsive with it. I go to get on my scale this am and the thing was dead. Will new batteries fix it...yeppers, but I think I will skip the scales, eat good, and see what happens. Who cares about numbers, right??? ( bites nails)

Good call. I think letting it rest for a good while is a good idea. You've got the fit of your clothes and your overall feeling of "healthy" to be your guide.

Yes! I half heartedly keep wishing my scale would die so I would stay off of it for a while and just concentrate on nutrition and exercise without dealing with the daily ups and downs!

Learn to love your tape measure, it never lies and will never break. Plus you can move your tape measure anywhere in the house and it will still give you the same number:tongue::drinker:

I actually don't weigh myself often at all. I think the last time I did was on November 26th or somewhere around there. I just watch what I eat and weigh occassionally. It shifts too much for me to want to weigh all the time.

I don't have a scale at my house for that reason - I'd be like a crack monkey checking my weight all the time.

When I feel the need to check my weight, I use the scale at work (vet scale - really accurate).
  • LOL good to see I am not alone...My tape measure hates me btw! It told me so! Hope everyone has a good week!!!
