What are your ideal measurements?

I've just been curious...what measurements would you constitute as an "hourglass" figure? Also, what are your ideal measurements?

I can't figure out which measurements to aim for as far as waist, etc. goes. I like measuring over weighing myself.

Bust-42
Waist-33
Hip-37

Bust and hip should be 10+ inches more than waist for an hourglass.

And ideal measurements are going to vary by height.

I don't think an hourglass figure is possible for me without plastic surgery.

I was hourglass at 34 bust, 26 waist, 36 hips lol. In time, I'd love to get close to those numbers again. :D

I'm a perfect hourglass with hips and bust at 43 and then my waist at 33. It's not all it cracked up to be. Getting clothes to fit your boobs but not hang off your stomach is a real challenge.

I'm not sure what my ideal measurements would be though. Maybe get my hips down to 35 and my waist to 25. Who knows? Guess we'll see when I get there!

Unless I get surgery I'll never have my ideal measurements. The more I lose the more I lose. :(

But my 2nd choice would be about another 1 - 1.5" off my waist and 1" off my hips.

Same here. Plus, I might have to have some internal organs removed.

    36 - 26 - 36. It's what I used to be. It's what I'm aiming for.

I'm trying to get down to 38-27-38 from 41-30-41. I've been losing inches in my arms and thighs lately, but not so much in my torso. So hopefully as I keep going I'll be able to get close to those measurements, but I'm just really interested in fitting into my favorite size 4 jeans. Ideally anyways.

    How YOU doin'?
  • I think an hourglass is when your chest and hips are about the same and your waist is ~10 inches smaller?

I'm 37-29.5-38 now and I'd love to get down to 36-26-36, that would be perfect for me.

Honestly, it is all about proportions rather than specific numbers. I would focus more on body fat percentages and not worry as much about "ideals".
