    40 lbs down, 40lbs to go - Pics

    Just wanted to share some pictures of my progress so far! It helps me to look at these when I start getting down because the scale hasn't been as kind as I wanted it to.

    Highest weight: 240lbs

    Current weight: ~195lbs

    Done the usual way! Eating less and moving more :D

    My goal for 2014 is to get smack bang into the middle of my healthy weight range, so 155 lbs. Fingers crossed!

      I really can't wait to keep going with this new lifestyle and see where the results take me! I'm going to be running my first 10k in June and very excited about it.

      Thank you very much! Sometimes I look back on old pictures and feel ashamed but then I remember that I was still the same basically good, kind, funny person that I strive to be today. I just want to be a fitter version of that person!

      PS - don't feel ashamed. Be PROUD. They are evidence of how far you've come and how hard you've worked. I have co-workers I'm friends with on FB act shocked when they stumble across some of my pictures when I was 50lbs heavier. Whatevs. It was me. It's still me. :) I'm just a little smaller now. And a lot more confident.

      You're so right! Every change in my body is definitely proof of the hard work I've put in but I am still essentially the same person, I just try and make better choices and wear a different dress size now!

      You're only 5'8!? I would have guessed WAY taller. Do you know your BF%?

      lol. sorry for all the questions, but to me you look much smaller than the 195. maybe its because you dress so good :)
