calories and exercise

just wondering when it is people eat the most calories? for example when i know im going to the gym i eat more in the day, is this the best thing to do? or is it better to eat the earned calories after working out?

I don't think it matters when you eat them. Personally I eat before and after I work out to make sure I've fuelled my body for the work out and had food afterwards to replenish my body.0

I don't normally eat before I go to the gym...but then again I am there by 5am... so that doesn't leave a whole lot of time to eat in the morning.
I usually do eat most of my "workout" calories back... if you're already set up for a deficit ...if you don't eat them back you're essentially not eating enough calories.
You need to eat enough to keep you going; days you work out...surely give you more leeway.0
