Way to go on PRs!! Your muscles are probably getting really good at what you're having them do, so maybe throw in something new?

For me, I like to throw in something I find fun, so today in the blizzard (ugh) I went cross country skiing. And now i cant walk! hahah. But if you're PRing, you're getting stronger!

Soreness is not necessarily an indicator of a good workout. Your body has acclimated.

Soreness is not an indicator of progress. You say you are hitting PRs - so you are progressing.

    program? rep ranges?

    heres an analogy for you

    not sore: bad workout

not hungry: dont need to eat

Just becuase your no longer getting sore, doesn't mean you didn't have a good workout, or your not making any progress.

I've made gains & I don't get sore all the time.

Muscle soreness is the accumulation of latic acid, basically your muscles don't have enough oxygen to perform an intense workout, and this acid is produced. Your cells go through phases, from glycosis to either pyruvate which requires oxygen to produce or latctate which is no oxygen, once your cells decide which way they are going to go, it needs to produce energy ATP. That's as simply as I can put it lol

I almost never get sore anymore. If you really WANT to get sore, change your routine regularly. The soreness really comes from doing things you aren't used to. It doesn't mean it's a good thing, but that's how you achieve it if that's what you're after.

Also, do stupid things. Like find your 50RM for deadlift. I was sore for about a week and a half after that. Crippling soreness. Never again.

FWIW, it was 215lbs if I remember.

    sweet jesus.

I'm doing 20 squats for a program and it's a pain in the di*k. I couldn't imagine doing 50 DL's- I'm having to do 15 stiff leg DL too- and it feels like cardio LOL.

50 is just stupid. you're right LMAO

Very stupid. I had to lay on the gym floor for a solid 10 minutes before I could get up. I was basically an invalid for a full week. Never again.
