Thoughts? Do any of you eat these? I had one yesterday and it was surprisingly good. But is it another health trend? Is it just as healthy as oatmeal in a sense?

I came across this the first time today, was looking for something light for lunch. I bought a mango flavour...first taste was okay but the after taste was weird, I really didn't enjoy and I threw about 2/3 of it away.
I don't think chia is a fad, but now sure about the pods...probably a lot cheaper to make at home.
I just looked at the packaging, I see its packaged in USA using Australian grown chia.
Is it only in Australia that Chia is really expensive? We pay a small fortune for it here.0 -
Check this out ....this guys made his own. Think I might do this en experiment. I really like the idea of getting my dose of chia in!!

I just purchased the vanilla one to try, I am so confused.. it's okay.. the taste isn't great, the texture isn't great.... I could handle the texture if it tasted like milk chocolate hahaha0

Is it like chia pudding? I make it with chia & almond milk, with a little Splenda & vanilla. I like it, but the texture is definitely a deal breaker for some. My daughter can't get over the "snot factor."0
