So far so good...

I've been substantially overweight all my life. Last February something just hit me and I was just DONE. Done being frustrated that I could hardly walk around the grocery store without getting out of breath. Done with the fact that my clothes were feeling tighter and tighter... Done with the fact that we had no full length mirrors in our house because I was afraid to see myself that way. DONE DONE DONE. Out of frustrating and bull-headed determination I slashed my calories to 1400 and cut out all refined sugar(using myfitnesspal). I was so so so hungry the first week, but I bullied my way through it and it got a little easier. About three months in I got a job that I absolutely LOVE. An easy 30 lbs came off that month because of the increase in activity.
Long story short, I lost 80lbs in 7 months.
(The after picture is on the left, lol. I realized afterward I should have put it on the right.)
Then I plateaued. And I've been stuck there since October. I've gained about 5 lbs back through the holiday season. I let my motivation go and didn't care for a while. I got a second job which I LOVE as well, but between the two places (both in the mall) the food options are Auntie Anne's, Starbucks, and American Cookie Company Not an excuse though!!! I just have to be more intentional about my diet. I've started taking my lunch with me and getting back on the "no sugar" thing. I've lost that 5 lbs, thank God. But I have a long ways to go. My short term goal is 20lbs so I can say I've lost 100. My long term goal is another 100!
