Hello all, I am relatively new. About me well I am male at 5'9 at 264lbs. I have struggled with my weigh all of my adult life and I am at the point that I cannot keep going. I found myself stopping a few times to get a snack before I went to family dinners. I love food.
Last thursday I decided to pull out the stops and join medifast. I am currently on day 5. I am struggling everyday to want to get a snack, or a burger. I am doing the 5 and 1 plan. I have been follwing it pretty much by the guidelines. I may add an ounce of lean ground beef or chicken.
I have not told anyone that is close to me that I am on this diet as I do not want to be made fun of or dismissed as not being serious. I am already doubting myself about how far I can go on this. I work in a job that there is always food that is being catered and meals are almost always paid for.
I know that me being on medifast is a means to kick start, and I have seen first hand how much weight a person can lose and keep it off.
Does anyone have experience with this? Give me some tips and tricks.

Hello the best advice I can give you is. Take it one meal at a time. If breakfast was bad start your lunch by eating better. You can also start preparing your meals as well that will help. I find that I stay motivated by my group of friend on here. I will add you and whenever you are feeling down you can inbox me as I will try my best to help. Try going to the gym 30 mins a day to start.0
