Hey there! I have a busy day today, and just ate my lunch while working! I'd like to get in my workout (30-day Shred) on my lunch break. Just wondering how long after you've eaten is it ok to workout?

honestly depends on what you ate and what you plan to do.

if I have a light lunch I can go lift- but it doesn't make me happy.

If I plan to go do a HIIT circuit and any plyo's- forget about it.

I had 3/4 cup cooked brown rice and a serving of ground turkey spaghetti sauce (homemade).

It really is personal and dependent on what type of workout you are doing. For intense workouts I try to give myself 2 hours, otherwise I end up feeling sick.

If I eat a light snack I can exercise right after. Yesterday I had a Nature Valley granola bar RIGHT before I did a 50 minute cardio DVD and I was fine. It depends on the food and how much of it you have.

I usually wait about half an hour. I don't like working out on a full stomach, it makes me feel bloated and winded.
