I studied T'ai Chi for about 4 years with a Kung Fu instructor. I still remember some of the forms that I learned. I recommend a Kung Fu school because they will teach the proper forms so you get the best results. Also, when you find a good instructor that inspires you - you stay more committed.
I'm sure you already know that T'ai Chi has many benefits, so I definitely recommend it. The only reason I didn't continue was a financial issue. This martial art (yes, you can actually use the moves you learn to defend yourself - just gotta speed it up a bit ) will help keep you flexible, improve balance, help calm your breathing (which is great for stress), and strenghten your muscles.
Look for a good school/instructor. Good luck!!0
