I feel compelled to share my diet with the guys(it can be for the females too). It is high protien/ high fiber. good for just about anyone that wants to keep or get to a healthy weight.

Breakfast:
3 egg white omlete plus one full egg for flavor ( you can add veggies/salsa if you like with you eggs).A slice of sargento reduced sodium colby jack cheese for the eggs. 2 slices of sara lee multigrain toast or a mutli grain wrap.......If you use all real eggs it is about 500 calories, but then it is high in cholesterol. I would only do 2 full eggs at the most.
About 350 calories for all of that.

OR
Quaker high fiber oatmeal 2 packets 320 calories.

OR
Some type of high fiber/wholegrain cereal with almond milk with about the same calories as the oatmeal.
Also there is a low sodium Turkey bacon that butterball makes that is 25 calories a slice that I will have sometimes too.

Snack 1:
Light yogurt with real fruit in it.

Lunch:
I will usually grill a small chicken breast 4oz or Have a can of tuna and make a sandwich on multigrain/ whole wheat bread with them(mustard only no mayo/somtimes you can get away with light mayo, but for the most part I avoid it). Sometimes I will make a Wrap with them also. I add low sodium cheese on mine usually and melt the cheese in the microwave. it also softens the wrap. With this I will have a piece of fruit. Pakaged deli meats have tons of sodium so I try to stay away from them as much as possible. The tuna has quite a bit too, but I dont eat it too often. with the wrap/sandwich I will have a piece of fruit(apple/banana/orange). This will be around 350 calories. or you can have a salad with the chicken or tuna and a low calorie dressing.

Snack 2:
1oz almonds 170calories

Dinner:
1 6-8oz of chicken breast(180-250 calories) cooked with 1-2cups of veggies(160 calories depending). If you have a slow cooker you can throw it all together and cook enough for a week and package it up to take with you to work. I like okra and tomatoes or corn and tomatoes. Sometimes I will just cook greanbeans to go with the chicken and have an Apple/Banana/Orange. It is about 400 calories for any of the combinations. Or you can have grilled fish with asparagus and fruit.

Tips: I take morph megadrive pre-workout, for the days I need some extra motivation to go to the gym and/or a nutrition bar. I also have protien shake for after workout with mixed berries/ fruit in it about 400 calories. If I do a really hard workout at the gym I will have an extra meal to compensate for the calories.

Thats about it. hope this helps someone. I have lost about 40lbs so far using this method.

  • I am new here & haven't browsed around much, but a new diet is exactly what I'm looking for. Also a lot of the post I've seen so far are directed more towards the women. Thank you for this post.

Your welcome, Alot of the women ask for a diet that they can cook their men that they will actually eat also, so i figured I would post it up. Also, You can have steak every now and then too, I just forgot to put it in there. I like to make peppered steak wraps with cheese and lettuce and a special homade sauce.

I almost forgot.... I only drink water, milk, or juice.... no soft drinks and light on the juice. They will kill your diet. Drink tons of water. I drink up to 16 8oz glasses a day. Also I would like to add that this is not set in stone but just a basic guideline to get some people started. The trick is to be able to modify it enough so that you dont get bored and stay within your calories.
