Carb Cycling and plateaus

So has anyone tried carb cycling and have gotten significant results? I've read online in different articles that this can help bust through plateaus which it looks like I'm currently standing on.
So for me it'll be:
Sunday: low day
Monday: low day
Tuesday : low day
Wednesday: high carb
Thursday: low day
Friday: low day
Saturday: high carb
So for me it'll be:
Sunday: low day

I've not tried it specifically but have been doing this in an unplanned way. As type 2 diabetic, I have to count carbs. So I have mostly low carb days but allow myself a couple of days of more moderate carbs. My moderate days are still lower than most people eat but higher for me if that makes sense.
I suppose one could call these my cheat days even though I still stay within my overall carb and calorie goals. It's been working well for me until the last 2-3 weeks when my wt loss stalled, so I'll be interested to see how it works for you. Good luck!0 -
My friend does it and follows Chris Powell's carb cycling plan of Sundays off and what the call a sling shot week every 4th week.
She loves it and seems to be having great success....
I haven't tried it though.0 -
I guess I'll try it for now and see what happens. I'll even update in this thread so keep a look out for my results!0
