What is everyone's favorite kind of workout pants? It seems like every one I buy always wants to "fall off" my butt (I know tmi). I've tried drawstring, bigger sizes, smaller sizes, etc....what to do?

I wear Old Navy compression pants, I also struggle with my pants sliding down, I've taken some up in the waist and now I'm wearing a size medium so they are fitting okay right now!0

The only pair I have atm that fit well and don't slide are Nike...my son got them for me at sports check for Christmas...
I have another pair adidas that fit and don't fall...but aren't as comfortable.0 -
Glad to see I am not the only one with the problem....it's so irritating!!0

Running shorts and Yoga pants !0

I have to wear pants with drawstrings, because running tights fall down as soon as I start jogging :blushing: However, I had a pair of champion brand running tights from target that I loved. They're available in short/regular/tall sizes and didn't fall down at all. (The only reason I got rid of them is because I dropped a size...good problem to have, I suppose!)0

Moving Comfort compression shorts are the ONLY shorts I have found that stay up without feeling like a corset around my waist. The ones that are a bit big though fall down until I break a sweat. So, since I can't afford to buy new shorts every time my weight fluctuates, I run on the treadmill at home with an abdominal binder as a belt until I am sweaty, ha! Otherwise, my running tights and pants have to have draw strings drawn tight and even then there is a lot of tugging. SO ANNOYING. I had this problem at 150 pounds too, so it can't just be a chubby lady thing.
ETA: I have also used rubber bands to pinch in a waistband. If you wear long shirts and/or don't mind the bulge, an abdominal binder actually works great to keep workout pants up..... I discovered this when I started running after I had an appendectomy.0 -
I just got a new pair 2 weeks ago...with drawstring....they fit fine...until I'm on the bike at spin class and they are falling down....ugh..,0

I got some at walmart that I love that stay put and were around around 12 dollars. Everything else I have either falls down or rolls down and drives me nuts!!
They are called Danskin... They are a slippery material but not like spandex.0 -
I took all my mom's old stuff. She had a lot of Everlast shorts and cropped leggings, and I love both of those. They're not sheer at all so I don't have to worry about that, and they're wicked comfy. I recommend Everlast.0

THIS!
Called Danskin "PERFORMANCE" fitted Capri's (or full leg length too). They have a tiny pocket in the waist band (holds a tiny MP3 or key but not much more) & no drawstring (don't need it)--some Danskins have a drawstring, but they are not "it." They stay up whether I'm doing floor exercises or running 1\2 marathons. Sometimes hard to find, but if you do, get a couple pair. They wash & dry great too..and for around $12 are the best deal in town.0 -
Look up "Women's Fleece Sweatpants" on Old Navy. They are the most comfortable pair of sweats I have ever owned. I had to buy another pair, and I think I still want more. I'm 5'6" and I bought the "tall" size because I like my clothing extra long and I'm kind of "leggy." After a wash or two, the length is just right. They might be too hot if you're a runner though. I walk/jog outdoors when it's cooler outside, so they're warm and comfy. I sleep in them too. Ok, I live in them. (Yes, I'm wearing them right now.)0
