30 pounds gone (lots of pics)

Last year around this time I decided I needed to make some changes. I was 5 ' 5" , bordering on 200 pounds and uncomfortable in my own skin.
I decided to join the Y. I started running. I started feeling better, but wasn't dropping much weight. I ran my first 5K in August
Around September of last year ^^^^^^^^^
I got serious about tracking on MFP and started losing at a steady 1 pound a week. The picture below is October 2013
Today I am over 30 pounds down from my starting weight and beginning half marathon training

14 pounds to goal!!!!

Yes, I kept running. I ran another 5K in October and an 8K in November.0

By request I did open my diary to public. I try and record everything but some days I don't quite make it to tracking dinner. I do a lot of batch cooking/freezer cooking from scratch so I have a LOT of recipes saved that you'll see throughout my diary.0 -

I LOVE running! I had no idea I would like it so much (and would NEVER have thought I'd be seen in public with running tights on). Plus I always look forward to my long run days as I usually eat at least half my exercise calories back ;-)0
