My third 30 days looked like this:
13211450594_f4c716dc8d_c.jpg

Weight: I had reached my goal weight of 150 lbs. on Dec. 17, 2013. According to MFP, that would place my net calories at 1600 for maintenance.

Between days 61-90, my weight ranged from 146.5 (Mar. 15) to 151 (Feb. 16-19 and Mar. 4). For successive 30-day periods, that's a new low for my maximum weight (prior max weight had been 151.5) and a new low weight (prior low weight had been 147.5).

My average weight for maintenance days 61-90 was 149.1, compared with 149.83 for days 31-60 and 150.06 for days 1-30. I'm still holding within my desired range.

Exercise Calories Burned: I took three rest days (0 calories burned) during maintenance days 61-90, as compared with 4 rest days over days 31-60 and 2 rest days over days 1-30. My average exercise calories burned for the third 30 days (including rest days) equaled 376/day: 9 more calories burned than my average for days 31-60 and 1 fewer calorie burned than my average for days 1-30. Maximum number of calories burned in a day equaled 1114 on March 15, from 3-1/2 hours of weed-whacking, according to Fitclick (http://www.fitclick.com/calories_burned?srch=weed+whacking). Frankly, I doubt I burned that much.

In addition to the weed-whacking, exercise during days 31-60 included other yard work, my usual workouts on the DeskCycle, and planking. As of this writing, I have built up to (and am holding at) a 4-minute basic plank and 1-minute side planks.

Total and Net Calories Consumed: Total calories for maintenance days 61-90 averaged 1811/day and ranged from 1427 (Feb. 26) to 2303 (Mar. 1). Net calories (total calories minus exercise calories burned) averaged 1426/day (15 fewer calories than my net average for days 31-60) and ranged from 725 (the day of my questionable 1114-calorie burn from weed-whacking) to 2085 (Feb. 27, a rest day from exercise and also the day of my biopsy). This average is still technically below but is within 11 percent of MFP's maintenance of 1600 net.

I had planned to continue training for and to do a 5K event on March 8, but I was still recovering from my biopsy and then received the news on March 4 that I have breast cancer. Fortunately, it's a relatively non-aggressive type. From the day of diagnosis my energies have turned toward preparing for my consult with the surgeon and now preparing for surgery.

I hope to post a 120-day update, but that will depend on how I feel. After my diagnosis I posted "Important Health Note" at http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1218024-important-health-note
