When they say not to go below 1200 calories does that mean net calories ???? Does eating back your exercise calories defeat the purpose ? I'm doing Insanity and I'm on month 2... So I don't want to under eat. Any suggestions/advice !? Thank you!!!

Your body burns calories just being alive. The default 1200 calories already should account for your day to day activity. Exercise is extra and so you should be eating back the calories burnt from exercise.0

Thank you! MFP tells me to eat 1360 ... And I burn around 500+ a day with insanity. Thanks I guess I'll up my calorie intake . My net is usually around 1000-1200 ... I tried upping my healthy fats EVOO and almond butter ... I guess I just need to eat more !0
