Well Wed, March 12th marked 6 weeks into the new me and the new lifestyle changes I have been making. Well lets start from the beginning. I have also been more on the heavy side which I know is all on me for the choices I made with food and eating. Most of which is still hard to get over. I had a rough child life and was sexually assaulted by a family member. Once I got past that (not fully but enough to be a better me) I was able to some what move on with my life and let men into my life. I met my husband when I was in high school and we got married the year after I graduated. I was going to college and working. After being together for 5 years I got prego with my son who is now 3. After he was born I got prego again with my daughter who will be 2 in may. When my daughter turned 7 months old we split and got divorced. It just wasn't meant to be after 8 years. Too much fighting. Although in the time before I had my son I went to weight watchers lost over 100 pounds and was down to 160. Then my stressful life happened and unhappiness and I gained it all back and then some. I then met the love on my life in Dec 2012. he is always there for me and very supportive in whatever I decide to do. He was there for me and my kids though the ups and downs. He has been my number one support since I start this life change to be better me and my family. We are set to be married next year before he deploys for the year. This will be my first deployment with him but his 3rd. Not sure what I am going to do without my life line. I am thinking positive and going forward with life. I am trying so hard to lose weight and lose weight the right way.
Last weekend I was home alone, the kids where with their father and the bf was at guards. I overate and def gained weight from the last time I weighed in. It took me over a week to get the weight back off and then down 1.4 pounds. I felt like I had failed, however, any other time I have tried to lose weight and I did lose it and I went off I never went back onto trying to lose weight again I just gave up and went back to eating out all the time, I mean Mcdonalds is right down the street from where I work. It is so much easier to go there twice a day then it was to pack breakfast and lunch after I got everyone else ready for the day. However, this time I got right back on to where I want to be.
With all this being said I started on Jan 29th after one month I went back to the dr and was down 29 pounds in the first month. i was so excited and so was my dr. I wasn't working out yet for I was still out of breath and the cold wind would kill me. Now I am able to bring in wood, feed the animals and walk in the cold wind with no issues. I barley have to use my inhaular so that I can breath. I am doing p90x remix with coworkers twice a week with everything being able to be motivated to what I can do physically. I have so much more energy and I am able to show my kids that eating healthy is good.
I started off on this journey at 308.4. Today I weighed in at 275 for a total weight loss of 33.4 pounds gone. Although I still have a lot to go (115 more to go) I am off to a great start and I am still moving forward. I just keep telling myself I can do this and I got this. I have done this before and I am more determined this time to lose weight and better yet KEEP IT OFF!!! I am so glad that I found this site and all these people that are right here with me on this journey. I wish you all luck.. I also can't thank my soon to be hubby for all the support he has given me, he has always been there for me even in the beginning when I was not so nice when i was getting used to cutting my food down and cutting out all soda. I am so glad I have a great support system.

That is so inspiring! Way to go..
I have gained over 25 lbs in last few months after childbirth and also work related stress. I feel so under-confident because of bulky look. I am not determined to make simple changes to lifestyle and get back in to shape.
Good luck!0 -

Great news and I'm glad you have your (soon to be) husband supporting you. You'll have your ups and downs, we all do. The key is to not let one bad day make you give up (something I've done many times in the past). Just remember that you didn't gain the weight quickly, and it's going to take time for it to come off. I know when I look at how much I want to lose to get to my goal, it looks overwhelming sometimes, but I try to break it down into little victories. I'm trying hard to make it a "lifestyle change" and not a diet, because when I've lost on diets I've put it all back on after the diet ended. Good luck!0

yes I am so lucky to have the support at home. And yes def is a life style change and I was at least able to get right back on after having a rough weekend and I know I may have more and yes I am trying to break everything down into 10 pounds a time because when you look at the big number it can be very overwhelming but I know on the other hand I got this.0
