No weight loss!

I am really confused! I have been eating healthy since the beginning of January, ive also been exercising every day and I have just recently started the insanity workout. I calculated my calories as 1340 so I stick to that and sometimes it can wave below only sligh. I feel slimmer n I have ad comments saying I look slimmer but my weight has not changed. As long as I feel healthy n feel good in my clothes im happy but it is something that confuses me and also can give you that little "oohhh" feeling, so was just wondering if I amd actually shrinking or is the scales right? If that makes sense haha.

If this is really happening, then you are c=going through a body recomposition - losing fat while building some muscle at the same time. Which suggests you are eating in maintenance and not in deficit.

that can be for one of 2 reasons - 1) you are not logging accurately - do you weigh all your food with a digital scale?
    2) you are overestimating your burns. This is also common since MFP overestimates the calories you burn

Either that or you are super short/have a medical issue/metabolism issue and this is your actual maintenance. Unlikely.
  • Hi your calories seem quite low compared to the exercise you take, make your body is not going into starvation mode and storing the fat. Good luck

you are not building muscle doing insanity...you need a surplus of calories for that and lift heavy weights.

If you are not losing as the other poster said you are probably eating more than you think and/or overestimating burns.

Weigh solids on a digital kitchen scale and use measuring cups/spoons for liquids...

another No...starvation mode is a myth...your body does not hold onto and/or create fat at a calorie deficet.

    +1

Not in a deficit or you would see it
  • No I don't weigh my food so that might be the problem. I will get some digital scales and start.

Overestimating exercise burns/underestimating your food intake is what is happening here.
  • Thank you.
