If you go in exercises it gives you the option to create your own. Just plug in p90x and then the calories you burned, if you have a heart rate monitor. Good job!

Just use a cardio option. It's probably the same amount of calories as jogging.

Use circuit training for things like plyo and core synergistics, strength training for the days that work strictly with weights, calisthenics for pushups/pull ups....

I found this url that has a calculation for any HIIT work out:
    http://www.livestrong.com/article/228774-calories-burned-from-high-intensity-interval-training/

I did mine for my 20 minute, no break workout and caem out with 119. I can live with that.

I do Tap Out XT2 and use a heart monitor / calorie counter, I record my training sessions under cardio (Calisthenics)and just enter my time and calories burned. I hope that helps you.

I just looked at the p90xcalories website, and it's running high versus my HRM. I normally burn 400-500 calories per full workout, per my Polar FT7 (highest being for plyo :)).

p90x gonna rip you apart bro, be very careful!! it can damage your heart. A friend of mine died from it
  • Yea it pretty much has been answered but to clarify go to http://p90xcalories.com/ and input your weight and max time for each workout. I use medium intensity option. Next log all exercise info under Cardiovascular in exercise tab on myfitnesspal. It takes about 10 minutes but its worth it! All we really care about when it comes to tracking exercise is calories burned.
