Clean Eating

I recently heard from the grape vine (now this could be completely false) but wanted to bring this to everyone's attention and get some insights. This might come off dumb to ask but here it goes. I recently became sick, common cold and possible sinus infection with an addition of blurred vision and slight dizziness. Its been going on three weeks now and nothing has really changed. I did go to the doctors and am on antibiotics I was wondering if clean eating has anything to do with it? Coming from a lifestyle of not unhealthy foods, processed foods, etc. I didn't know if this could cause any alternation of switching from one to the other ("normal" lifestyle to extreme clean eating lifestyle)
Thanks!
Thanks!

No, illnesses are caused by virus's, and are not caused by ones diet.
If you are still sick after being on antibiotics for three weeks, then I suggest going back to the Dr....0 -
Actually, illnesses are caused by a number of things, viruses being only one of them. Antibiotics are not effective against viruses, but doctors often prescribe them because patients want (or insist on) them. But the advice to go back to the doctor is smart. I'm wondering if it could be a seasonal allergy. Allergy season has really kicked in around here, and my allergy symptoms are sorta like the poster's.0

It's quite possible your symptoms are coming from dehydration. When any symptoms continue longer than a few days, you should return to your physician and be reexamined. if antibiotics aren't having any effect it's unlikely you have an infection, but rather a virus, and you'll have to wait for your body to fight it off. In the meantime, eating enough and getting plenty of liquids will be important.
and as ndj said, the dietary changes are not the source of your symptoms.0 -

I appreciate the feed back. I wasn't sure if transitioning from processed foods to healthy clean foods, can give headaches...somewhat like what caffeine can do. Again, no doctor. But trying to get some answers. I have a few days left on the antibiotics, so we will just wait and see Thanks again....back to the gym I go0
