Not sure which TDEE to use

MFP calculated my calories at 1200. After reading about BMR and TDEE I decided to calculate this and see what it came up with. I work from home but I am not sat at my desk all day as I do get up and move about a bit. I go to the gym three days a week for about an hour and twenty minutes and I also do bits of exercise i.e. walking cycling on the days that I dont go to the gym. Would I be classed as lightly active or moderately active? My TDEE as lightly active is 1643 and for moderately active it is 1882. Either way if I take 20% off my calories would be higher than the 1200 MFP have calculated so going to give it a go, just not sure which TDEE to use......can anyone advise please?

I'm in the same boat as you. I sit at a desk ALL day though, but I work out 5-6 days a week. I said I am moderate ... but I took it down 100 calories.

You could do the same and go inbetween.

Do like 1700? Try it out for a month and see how you think you are losing. If you think you should go up or go down, do so!

    Trial and error!
