combination diet, advice?

Today I just started this new diet thing. It's the Bob Harper's"jumpstart the skinny", it's an 800 calorie diet. in addition I'm also drinking triple leave super slimming herbal tea. and lastly I'm doing the Brazil b*** Lift.has anyone done anything similar? Any success?

    I lost all my weight and lost a considerable amount of body fat just eating less and lifting. 800 calories is like just my dinner. I would highly recommend finding a more sustainable method. Something you can actual transfer into forever, rather than a point a to point b mindset.

    People with eating disorders don't eat anywhere close to 800 calories a day. They do good to eat 100-150.

    That's on the very extreme end...
    There is a huge range of eating disorders.
    800 would, in most cases, still fall under that category.
    Eating so few calories is an unhealthy relationship with food.

    I'm a little more liberal when it comes to VLCD. If you cycle properly it isn't all that unsafe. Knowledge of what you are doing is key, and since most people don't know what they are doing, it is largely deemed unhealthy. I'm not suggesting she should or should not eat 800, or any amount, for that matter, because I don't know all of the parameters I would need to know to make that decision. I do know that I lost 50 lbs on a VLCD with proper cycling and I am healthier than I have been in a long time. People say VLCD is unhealthy, I say not even remotely close to as unhealthy as being class 2 or class 3 obese.

    Your body uses calories all day long..........heart, lungs, kidneys, etc. If you don't eat enough to fuel your vital organs, your body will make sacrifices. Hmmmm.....do I want to support a full head of hair.....or heart muscle? Hmmmmm.....do I want to support thigh muscle.....or lungs?

    Look up your BMR - basal metabolic rate. This number is based on YOU....your height, your weight, your age. This is what doctor's would give you (via feeding tube)...if you were in a coma.

    Don't bother exercising on 800 calories.....you are increasing the deficit further....increasing loss of muscle mass

    Have fun eating 800 calories a day! You cant keep that up so when you do eat again youll gain anything back if you even lose anything. Have fun!

    Well she didn't tell us that, also, I specifically said that i didn't have enough information to make a decision on whether she should or should not eat a certain amount of calories. Did you miss that part?

    well, again it's only supposed to be for 21 days. Thats why its called jumpstart a skinny. I did not intend to starve myself forever

    Does this diet have you eat 800 calories everyday? Also I would be curious to see what a typical day of food looks like that is recommended for on this diet.

    If I was eating only 800 a day I'd probably kill someone after the 3rd day. It would be jumpstart to prison for me. I'd never make it 21 days! Sounds absolutely miserable. Good luck with that!
