Anyone want to look at my diary and give me thoughts?

Hey guys,
So the last two weeks I have just maintained my weight. I'm thinking I might have hit a plateau. It's kind of annoying, but I know I'll get off of it eventually.
I just re looked over my food diary, and have noticed that I have eaten out more than usual recently, so that's probably part of it. Also, it's been a stressful two weeks. My moms 50th birthday party (I didn't log that day), and then we also had a Thanksgiving dinner one day. I didn't log the entire time we were in Disney World over Thanksgiving either. But I lost 3 lbs while there so it works lol.
So yeah, if anyone is bored and could look at my food diary, that'd be awesome.
I work out about an hour a day, on the elliptical, changing up the program I do, sometimes doing it really hard, sometimes lighter. I do that at least 5 x per week. I strength train, as well, 3 times per week.
So any advice?

Perhaps you should try eating at least half of your exercise calories. You always have a TON of calories left in the entries I skimmed through.0

I agree that you may be undereating some. I'm not an advocate of eating all your exercise calories, but you are burning a ton and not making a dent in them. Your body does need fuel and some of your choices (I'm really not criticizing-don't look at my diary for today!) are probably loaded with sodium. I find that when I eat alot of foods high in sodium, even if the calories are good, I don't lose weight and often gain. Tweak your calories some.0

as a suggestion i would try to fit smaller meals (calorie wise in ur diet) like more things than like 4 big meals ...0

I won't sugar coat this. You're probably eating too little. Try to eat back 200-400 of your exercise calories and see how that treats you. I've seen barely any vegetables and fruits (some days I only saw 1, or none!). You seem to eat a lot of processed foods which contain a lot of chemicals, hormones, and preservatives (sodium included). If something has more than 5 ingredients (and those ingredients aren't things like 5 seperate veggies or a stir fry you threw together yourself) then it's too been too processed! Also try eating more hard working complex carbs.
Don't mean to be mean, just calling it like I see it.
Good luck0 -
hmmm i do see you go over your fat intake alot...maybe some better choices that are not high in fat?0

Don't forget about water! It'll help was away any sodium to take in. I noticed that the last day you logged anything to drink was last wed. Remember that tea can count as water as well as coffee (I think!) but remember to go ahead and count you're juices, pops, whatever in your diary, too!0

Oh yeah I never log the water, because I forget it... it's all the way at the bottom of the page... lol. I drink at LEAST 8 cups a day though.
Know what's sad? I have upped the calories I've been eating, this is definitely upped, by about 100 a day. So I guess I'll up it some more. It should be easy. So thanks guys I wasn't sure, and I'm terrified of eating my exercise calories....0 -

Thank you I need non-sugar coated. I've been home now, because school ended, and I can't eat well at all when I'm here. I was just eating the same thing every day (bagel thin/turkey/laughing cow cheese for breakfast, salad/chicken for lunch, salad/chicken/rice for dinner) when I was at my duplex, but now that I'm back home, I just can't do that. Mom "tries" to help but she really isn't at all, and I don't wanna be mean because she really is trying.....
But yes I agree on the not enough veggies/fruit. I don't like fruit so I don't eat it. Veggies though I love i'm just cheap so I never buy them except for lettuce... that is something now though I can make Mom buy, lol!0 -
Go for the veggies and try to spread out the protein to more and smaller portions. More water would be good. Cut back on the fats a bit. I really don't think you are eating that badly per se. If you want to eat better, you are getting some good advice. Learn to cook a little at a time and over the years you will be able to provide very nutritious meals for yourself. Watch the sodium intake. Have you recently started working out more since you've been out of school; because, that will make you retain water as well. Good luck.0

You really should eat a bigger breakfast and have more variety in your meals. Also, try to eat more which sounds funny to say, but I have found out that I have to eat more to lose. I wasn't eating enough. More veggies (not just a potato or lettuce on your sandwich) and fruit are needed. I see that you don't like fruit, maybe there's one you haven't tried (if you eat jam, try to eat the fruit instead). As for cost of veggies try the frozen type. These foods fill you up more and feel fuller longer. I hope this helps. Good luck.0
