Hi

I started this about 10 days ago. Lost 6lbs in my first week - really pleased. I'm aiming for 1200 cals a day and at the gym 5 nights. I normally eat back 1/2 my cals burnt at gym

Would just be nice to share ideas and have some people to chat about it all with.

Not figured how to have open diaries yet but I will :-) so feel free to add me.

Rach xx

    Hi,
I'm new to this also. Good luck! I'm hoping to lose 60 lbs with staying at 1200 calories also. Ugh its so hard!
  • Sent you a friend request - could use more friends that actually use mfp. ✌

mine is 1260 don't know where the 60 came from, but I can usually get in 1000-1100 calories from walking and running.

Welcome! I've sent you a friend request.

This is my second time around here and I cannot tell you the difference having MFP friends has made in my experience and in my results. I have managed to create a network of wonderfully supportive people who offer encouragement, advice, and truth telling. As you read your news feed and forums and see comments from people who seem to have similar goals and values, send them a friend request. Accept every request you receive. I went super stealth underground my first time around and I believe it was to my detriment. This time my motto is , "The more the merrier!"
