Hello

Hello everyone, I just wanted to stop in and introduce myself. My name is Kayla and I gained about 100lbs after having my two children. Since then I have been struggling to lose that weight. Today my doctor told me I have high cholesterol so I really need to get serious about this. I've been battling a good deal of stress and depression which I think has been holding me back a bit. I'm hoping that maybe being a part of this community will help me find some people that will support me in making my goals as well as me supporting them.

    Hey all! My name is Emily, I'm a 24yr female. 5'4 (162cm) & 220 lbs (99.7kg), target weight 125 lbs (56kg).

    I've tried several times to lose weight and just seem to keep putting it back on. Heres to my last first day!

    I am in a similar boat. I was shocked and stressed when Doc informed me about my high over all cholesterol, high LDL and low HDL.
    Geared up and got the ball rolling. Started at 172 pounds and today I am 153 in 3 months.

    The total cholesterol dropped to 193 from 258 in 2 months.
    I controlled the diet, measured everything, cut on the fried and fast food. and 45 mins cardio x 5 times a week.

    More fruits and more green. Meat twice a week.
    Hope you do get control over your cholesterol levels.
