Take measurements/ and or progress pics to record instead of just using the scales. In addition it can take your body a while to catch up with intial changes. Stick with it.0

I just joined and I too have been working out for about 5-6 weeks. The small changes I have noticed is my clothes feel less tight. and my scale has only moved about 4 lbs...so,now i am trying to track my nutrition because exercise alone is not doing it for me.. basically don't feel discouraged and keep going!0

You have to remember...when you lose weight it comes from everywhere..Feet thighs arms back butt chest face!!! I didnt really see a difference on myself till about 20lbs. Once the water weight is off then i started to see small changes. I have lost 7 inces on my waist... I still dont see it.. i know i have lost the inches but i guess when you have been overweight for so long it just looks all the same. Keep up the work.. 10lbs is fantastic!! The scale use to be my worse enemy.. but now i love jumping on the scale to see what the numbers are today! Every monday i do my offical weight and measurements. Sometimes my weight is the same.. but my measurements decline. Always a good day0

Take photos. I am unable to see my weight loss in the mirror but can see it clearly in photos.0

I have just now started to realy see changes, down about 22lb. People have just now started to comment on it too. Also now my pants are really fitting loose, from the ones I bought about 3 months ago. So when I have lost only 10lb I will go get some new ones, cos theas ones will not stay up at all then.
So I think it may take a few more lb to realy see anything, take photos.0 -
If you have a lot to lose, 10 lbs won't be very noticeable. I had to lose 25 before I began to see a difference. 10 lbs is a great start though and soon you'll see yourself changing.0

thank you so much! i def have a LOT to lose. hoping to lose around 50 lbs-70lbs...wow ive never actually written that out. scary when i say it
it just suks beause ive never been this big. ive never been the "fat chick" n im here and i need to change it already. i know 10 lbs is a good start. been busting my *kitten*. just sometimes i need to hear it from others. im headed in the right direction. hopefully son ill be having to buy new pants!0 -
I have a lot to lose. I take pics because I couldn't see it, even when I was down over 30 lbs. People started commenting then, and I hadn't told anyone what I was doing, so I knew there were changes. I'm really just now, within the last 10 lbs or so, noticing it more myself. But since other people noticed, I knew it was starting to show. Congrats on the 10 lbs so far.0

I also didn't see much change in clothes and my body until the loss hit 20 lbs. Then I went down a pants size and my rings were looser so I knew my hard work was paying off.
Congrats on your 10lbs!0 -
don't mind the scale until you hit 50lbs then other people will tell you they see a difference. don't like the scale discourage you. it will happen, just be consistent, persistent and determined. exercise and diet works.0

Congrats. Do not be discouraged. You are already having positive results... keep pushing. You could take a picture once a week from the same angle; in about four weeks or so compare them.0
