Question about net calories

I just realized on most days I've only been netting like 950 or so. Could this be the reason I'm not losing anymore weight? Also why I feel sluggish and feel light headed when I do my cardio?

It's 100% why you feel sluggish and light headed. You "should" still be losing weight though.
What is your goal from MFP? Ht, Wt, Age and how much do you exercise?0 -
The answer is, peanut butter sammich and a glass of milk.0

I would question if you are really burning as many calories as you think you are from exercise, and your intake may be understated.
How are you calculating calories burned?
do you weigh all solid foods you eat and record it all?
Do you measure all liquids other than water that you consume?
How much cardio are you doing?
When is the last time you have eaten on the days you get light headed doing cardio?
If you don't weigh and measure food there is a very good chance you are eating WAY more than you think you are, 10-50% more. And if you are going by MFP estimates for cals burned they tend to be over stated.
If you are in a deficit you will lose weight, some weight loss could be masked by increased water retention though. This could be due to time of month, if you stated a new, or increased intensity of your exercise program.0 -

MFP gave you a calorie deficit BEFORE exercise. That way when you log exercise....those calories get added back. When you eat those calories......you then get back to a NET of 1200.
MFP adds exercise calories back to prevent the calorie deficit from being too large. You definitely need to be eating more. Are your weight loss goals fat loss....or just weight in general? You have to eat enough to lose fat while still keeping muscle.0 -
Umm... just a observation, you JUST JOINED this month and have lost only 2 lbs. It occurs to me you really haven't given this enough time to compare your loss. Give it time and follow the program... it works.0

Amen about the crucial importance of weighing and measuring and calculating everything you put in your mouth. If you don't have a digital scale that measures both grams and ounces, please get one. It has absolutely revolutionized my experience and my success. In a few cases I was actually shorting myself on food.
If you are using MFP for your exercise calculations you can pretty much count on them being overly high for the actual exercise, sometimes by a ridiculous amount. Find another more reliable way to measure your exercise burns.
Again, MFP calculates a calorie deficit and you need to be netting much closer to 1200.
And give it more time.0
