Just had the worst weekend! VERY unlike me!

I'm usually so strict, and neever get tempted! Something was up this weekend. It was just lets eat a bit of everything! Preparing myself for no loss, will be very disappointed with a gain though. Stomach is hating me for that pile of prunes I had haha

Anybody else have a bad weekend?

My 'week' starts on Tuesdays, where I have my new eating plan and all, so I'll leave tomorrow for getting it out my system and then start fresh :)

Happy that I no longer bash myself up over it, and just move on though

Just needed to vent to be honest!

Considering the weight loss your ticker shows, you must have been doing something right in general, so one weekend cannot really ruin anything.

Eat "good" (whatever that means to you) 80% of the time. Fit yummy, portion-controlled treats into your calorie goal. Deprivation can lead to bingeing.

Also, with only 24 lb. to go (congratulations!), your goal should be no higher than 1 lb. per week. And the smaller deficit will help you transition to maintenance.

Were you stressed during the week or on the weekend?

    Were you sleep-deprived?

Did you spend a day or two before the weekend in too much of a calorie deficit?

Or maybe your body just really needed a splurge.

The weekend is not over. Pick yourself up and move on. Today, not tomorrow, not Tuesday. Everyone has down times, it's a part of the process; however not beating yourself up is something that definitely takes time. Keep moving!

  • I suggest not depriving yourself of anything, but to allow it in your daily intake allowance with being aware of portion control. I have a food scale which helps with accuracy. I find if I restrict myself of certain intake options I will most likely go to town on them at some point in the future. My weeks are Friday to Friday, so I start fresh for the weekend. We al have bad days. You recognized it and now it's up to you how to react to it, I suggest a positive route. You're doing great based off your lost amount already. Have a good Sunday!
