I have tried losing weight for a while now, it's always a challenge, I lose the weight and then gain it all back when I lose steam or interest. I am only 21 and am a student in college but I am quite overweight and I find that that does cause me to be less social as well as less engaged in activities that I really want to be apart of. I never used to be depressed or self-deprecating, but, as I have gained more weight, I have started to lose my self-esteem and I cannot allow that to happen! I have an ongoing battle with soda and junk food in general--I overeat a lot and, lately, I have found that I am disliking food more and more, and that's just not a healthy mindset or way of life. So, I have started MyFitnessPal to help gain some direction back to a healthier and happier life with a better outlook and a higher self-esteem level.

Well, that's my introduction. Just wanted to know if anyone has tips or comments--I have a lot of problems with motivation so anything is helpful! Thanks! :)

    lol. being overweight is th ereasonwhy im hesitant to go out and meet people. :c i want to be able to meet new peple and hangout and just chill, but i do care alot about my looks so im always afraid to engage on those activities too!
    im also 21 as well and i m gettign closer to the end of my college life, i dont want to regret not doing anything before i gradutqe , i want to be at my goal weight by the time i finish school :D
