I'm trying to up my protein intake, but find it surprisingly difficult. I aim for a pretty even amount of fat, carbs, and protein throughout the day but it usually ends up somewhere around 37/37/26. I get most of my protein now from eggs (mixture of both whole and egg whites) and chicken, with some occasional beef or pork (maybe once or twice a week).
Can anyone suggest other foods that are high in protein and relatively low in carbs and fat? I'm not a huge fan of protein shakes/powders, but am getting burnt out on eating meat at least 3 meals a day, so that's what I'm leaning towards at this point.
Thank you!

low fat refried beans, top with 1/4 cup of 2% shredded cheddar, then two fried eggs. A little salsa or enchilada sauce and two small flour tortillas on the side. 30 grams of protein and oh so tasty!!!!0
