The summer before my tenth grade in school, I started losing weight I ate 1200, a day and would exercise. I got very obsessed though. I’m a dancer and i guess i felt the pressure, or want to be thin. I went from 125 to 110 in 2 months and i’m 5’6. ALso the media played a toll in that decision i guess but i just wanted to be healthy. Eventually i went down to 600 for maybe 3 months. I then upped to 800, for at least 8 months. I was skinny, always, cold and lost my period. This past summer i started hearing more, and i gained back at least 20 pounds i’m now 130. I’ve started trying to restrict again in the last few months to 800, but i can’t lose any weight, if anything i’m gaining. I work out regularly and only eat that much. Being 130 kills me and i can’t imagine gaining more, I’m not sure how to lose the healthy way, because i gained fat not muscle. I want to lose 10 pounds but how?

There is no "possible." You have an eating disorder and need to seek help for it. 800 calories is far too low, especially if you are active. Figure up your BMR and TDEE. Eat at a slight calorie deficit. Honestly, instead of trying to lose weight, why not do strength training to become more fit? Lower your BF% instead of your weight. The number on the scale means so little.
ETA: eating 600-800 calories isn't what you describe as healthy. It's the opposite.0 -
Losing weight at 5 6 and 130 pounds is actually on the low end of your range. If you want to look more fit you should concentrate on excercise and musle instead of trying to loose weight. I am 5 6 too and my goal weight is to be 150 which is still in the healthy range. People think that the lighter you way the smaller you will be, that is not true. Its all about the inches. I wear the same size pants when i was down fifty pounds. Thats because without excercise i still have not toned up. I understand what it is like to have an eating disorder so I know how hard it is. But trust me when i say its much better to be healthy then miserable and in a possible health crises because of your eating habits. THe best thing to do is look up your proper calorie count and follow a good excercise program. Know that you are beautiful at any size. And feeling better starts with you. Believe in you and you will do great.0
