Body Bag Boxing Workout?

Hey guys, so I read on the workout diary section that boxing with the body bag can burn up to 550 calories in 60 minutes, is that true? I've been working out by punching the punching bag/body bag.. Is this a good way to burn fat, slim up, etc? And does it really burn this many calories?

    I boxed a few years ago, a heavy bag workout is 3 minutes on constant punches and movement, 30 seconds rest, and then 3 minutes ect. Stimulating an actual match. Best to have a bag hung where it can swing freely making you move. If you are new to boxing please research hand wrapping and proper form , it can destroy your wrists, elbows and shoulders.
